Clay Jeweler and Potter,
I am strongly inspired by nature and conservation.
All of my work is made in the same methods as functional pottery. Every piece is formed, trimmed, dried,
fired, glazed, and fired again before it then can be made into jewelry.
I enjoy making rough natural shapes and incorporating semi-precious stones in my designs.
I
love to constantly experiment and use new ideas in construction, finishing and firing. I have been fortunate to dig clay
local to my home. I enjoy using the locally dug clay in some of my work.
I use a potter’s
wheel to throw some of my round and donut pendants. For some of my pieces, I fuse recycled or stained glass into the clay
in my kiln firings.
I love sharing my work and I hope you enjoy it for years to come!
